1. Wake Up & Fuel Up
First thing’s first: get a good night’s sleep and make sure you are well rested for a snow-packed adventure on the mountain Wake up refreshed and excited, grab a warm cup of coffee, and eat a hearty breakfast while you take in the views of the soft snow and sun rising.
2. Get Ready
As you digest your breakfast, it’s time to prepare your body for the day! It’s important to stretch your muscles and get them ready for a full day of pow-slashing.
3. Gather the Troops
Have you heard the saying, “No friends on a pow day”? Well, we beg to differ, there’s no better way to enjoy a powder day than with your friends. It is also the safest. So, pick up the phone and call your best adventure buddy!
4. Get First Chair
Be out the door by 8 a.m. Why? Because nothing beats the first chair on a powder day. Enjoy an untouched first run, because the mountain really is YOURS when you get that first chair.
Charging through all that powder can really take it out of you. Stop for a breather and grab some food and water to recharge your body. One of the best things about a powder day? Free refills! (By free refills, we mean the fresh snow that has fallen while you are taking a break.)
6. More Refills
While you are taking a break for lunch, those tracks are getting covered with new snow ready to be skied again! After a nice lunch and with rejuvenated legs, take your shot at the afternoon pow or discover another part of the mountain that has been waiting for you!
7. Après / Hot Tub
Après, hot tub or both. After a long day on the mountain, relax with a well-deserved happy hour drink or hit the hot tub and give those legs the therapy they need. Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed!
End the day with your comfy sweats, a blanket, and a fire. Reminisce on all the awesome turns you had while watching the snow continue to fall and enjoy the warmth of the fire.
