Breckenridge has a wonderful mix of art galleries, local theater, live music and special events that bring local flavor such as Ullr Fest and Oktoberfest. From the National Repertory Orchestra to the artist-in-residence at the Tin Shop, there are cultural offerings to satisfy just about any taste.
The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) makes Breckenridge its home every summer and is one of the top student summer performance orchestras in the nation. The NRO performs two full orchestra concerts each week at the Riverwalk Center between late June and mid-August. In addition, members of the NRO take part in smaller chamber concerts.
